Today was the final day to complete all of the editing and making sure the film was ready to be uploaded to youtube. Firstly we opened up our project on Adobe Premier to make sure everything was still there and presentable. Shaneece and I then exported our project and saved it as an AVI format which allowed us to burn it to DVD later. Whilst exporting the clip another programme called Adobe Encoder opened which allowed us to finish saving it as an AVI file. We then had to go back into Adobe Premier and re save our project as a H264 file, this enabled us to upload our project to youtube quicker than uploading an AVI file.
After saving our project as an H264 file I then opened up Youtube and Miss entered her youtube details as my group and I didn't have a youtube account. I upload the H264 file to youtube, but for some reason the file was corrupted and wouldn't play, so I then tried to upload the AVI file, it took 30 minutes to upload to youtube. Finally the clip had uploaded to youtube and I played it back to my group and we all agreed it looked good. Now our work is on youtube or you can preview the clip at the bottom of the screen, so feel free to have a look and comment.
Overall I think our film was pretty successful and we all are pleased with the amount of work we did. However, there was some advantages and disadvantages to the film, one disadvantage was that it was a basic story line, there was no thrill or enegeticness to it. I think we could have thought of a better story line, if we had a little more time and if we had more people in our group. In addition I also think that the filming was plain and the dialogue was very mutual and simple. However there was some good points to our film, we included some good camera angles and techniques, also when we added all the transitions the film looked a whole lot better than before.
